A truly European discussion would still mean a multiplicity of views and arguments. Voices from all member states would agree to disagree, but also to interact on matters of common interest regardless of borders. A European public sphere should be conceived in terms of partially overlapping public spheres "There are literally hundreds of specialized journals that carry the epithet European or an equivalent in their title. But when it comes to general cultural and political reviews, there may
Indeed there are thousands of web-sites with European-wide subjects, but most of these websites use only the national language.
Some however are using 3 or even 5 languages !

Maybe it would be good if "Signandsight" had a page where people can find web-sites which use these 3 to 5 languages, because thesesites always have englisch as one of these languages.

Let me give an example:
The Dutch website about AYAAN HIRSI ALI uses Dutch,German,French ànd Englisch for their debates.

On
http://ayaanhirsiali.web-log.nl
you will find a possibility to go to the debates in englisch:

http://ayaanhirsiali.web-log.nl/ayaanhirsiali/english/index.html

But if you click on "Orher languages" you can find letters in Italian,Spanisch, etc.etc.

So I suggest that Signandsight should promote such web-sites with European-wide subjects and yes all readers of Signandsight should take part ,in englisch language..,in the debates about islam, fundamentalists and the place of islam in Europe.

So go to:
