Comments on the article: No morals without style

Rainer Werner Fassbinder's ex-wife, the actress and chanteuse Ingrid Caven, is outraged at the way the Fassbinder legacy is being misrepresented. She does not mince her words with Katja Nicodemus.

Remember me
I once donated good money to placement of a large stone sculpture at my university, built by a brutish guy involved with a susceptible academic divorcee' - with beautiful but crumbling bone structure - I had danced with at Department parties. For this donation I was supposed to be commemorated eternally along with the other donors by engraving of my name on a "donorstone." I have never before or since seen my name carved in hard stone and it was certainly thought provoking. Eventually the building justifying placement of the sculpture was replaced, as all but the irreplaceable university buildings, and the sculpture was removed, and the "donorstone" removed even more. I hope Ms. Craven deserves and gets better.
