it`s nice for a change
I have always wondered if I were a Serb what would I feel? Would I try to free myself from the myths and why wouldn`t I wake up to the reality especially with the world going global....this article explains a lot but yet gives no hope for the future good relations between Serbs and Kosovars. It almost don`t matter anymore for the current generations becaue the damage has been done but we need to look at the big picture. Reading this I am hopeful now that change can come even if it takes one at a time....

Maybe the solution is simply to wait stoically and be patient. Maybe one only needs to hope that a new generation will grow up under more peaceful and healthier circumstances. Perhaps the only thing left for us is to believe that our grandchildren will be our real children.
I read Vladimir Arsenijevic's peice and i was fascinated by the sheer openness of it; merely because one is not used to read such articles by a "Serbian" if i may call him so, hopefully he won't feel offended that I am branding him after a national symbol. As days go by I find that people who think beyond the media box which Vladimir seems to partly blame for the destruction of Yugoslavia; however fake and hyper-glossed it was - feel that common humanity has no borders, nationalities and so on with the labels. Although I find his article courageous, i find the ending of it quiet daunting, because I believe even Serbians and Albanians can reconciliate to trade to a good neighborly standard if the basis of the relation ship from each side is considered to be common humanity based on mutual respect taught by education, education and more education. Cheers for the good realistically depicting article Alban
