Ukrainian Jewry

Ukrainian very special borscht which includes "600 years of Jewish culture, with Hasidism as the legacy of Ukrainian Jewry"
Were you planning on mentioning in that particular part of your article this detail:
"Bohdan Khmelnytsky incited the Cossacks by telling them that the Poles had sold them as slaves "into the hands of the accursed Jews." With this as their battle cry, the Cossacks massacred a huge number of Jews during the years 1648–1649. The precise number of dead may never be known, but estimates range from fifty thousand to several hundred thousand Jews killed: 300 Jewish communities were totally destroyed."
In fact almost all historical musings in this article are highly suspect and wouldn't withstand any serious scrutiny.
There is a lot to be done to build the New Ukraine and anybody who plans to participate in this process shouldn’t star with such a flimsy and antihistorical cultural foundation and ruin it within.
