PLEASE CHECK YOUR INFO BEFORE PUBLISHING
This article contains some wrong information. For example, the mentioned complaints of Osman Okcu, stated about a year ago, were based on hearsay, prior to the announcement of the lists of invited authors and publishers, without being aware that Ilber Ortayli, as a prominent historian, was indeed included. The Organization Committee for Guest of Honour Turkey had issued a public correction for that article shortly after its publication. For the details of Guest of Honour programme please see www.fbf2008turkey.com. I will be happy to provide you with any data or information you may need concerning the programme as the co-chair of the Organizing Committee representing publishers and authors. I am aware that this is a translated article and will also forward the same comment to the original publisher.
